Spyderco Civilian G-10 Handle Serrated Edge Knife, Black

The finest defensive folder made...when used in an actual situation, it does not disappoint
This is a knife made for self defense. It is not made for utility usage whatsoever. The documentation that comes with the knife says this verbatim. There is a reason. This knife is meant to cut people. And of all self-defense folders on the market, this is arguably the finest and the one that maximizes your chance of surviving an attack. It also has the widest body of knowledge of owners who have had to use it. I'm included in that group.

The design of this knife is essentially to allow someone who knows little about MBC to do a lot of damage. Someone with with a small amount of training can do even more damage. However, unlike the karambit (which is a fantastic defensive weapon), a user without any experience in using a knife for self defense can do a lot of damage with the Civilian. I would advise James Keating's Spyderco Civilian Video to maximize one's capability with the Reverse S Curve blade that the Civilian, Matriarch, Lil'Matriarch, and a few other folders from...
Hella Big Beast
This is a large, well....... weapon. Make no mistake, this knife is made for one thing. Go to the Spyderco web site and read it. Yes it CAN cut rope, but this is overkill if that's want you want. I really bought it as a unique knife for my collection. To carry the Civilian is for self defense. There is 100% no doubt in my mind that this knife will perform it's intended purpose well. I cut myself with the tip of the blade with hardly ANY pressure. I love it. It is def not an EDC. But I would trust it with my life.
EXTREMELY MEAN
I bought this knife as a primary defense weapon, due to some unique circumstances. It will go through thick parkas or leather like you were opening up a zipper! This knife has a reverse "S" blade that is intended to be used like an oversized claw. It has a deep curve and full belly. The blade (VG-10 hollow-ground) comes fully serrated and wicked sharp. Because of its distinct features, it's not intended for EDC. It's a serious blade, in case you get into serious trouble.

* Blade Material: ATS 55 Stainless Steel

* Handle Material: G-10
* Locking Mechanism: Lock Back
* Blade Length: 4 1/8"
* Handle Length: 5 3/16"
* Overall Open Length: 9.125"

Summit Treestands Goliath SD Climbing Treestand

climbing treestand
I bought my tree stand after the hunting season was over and I'm very anxious to use it hunting. I've practiced climbing some trees several times this winter. It works great! It's easy to set up and climb with. I was a little disappointed when I got the stand in the mail and saw that the padded rest isn't padded all the way around to the sides. Also the backpacking straps have not been updated as I was led to believe on their websites and you tube. These straps are supposed to allow you to connect the seat to the base in case you lose the base while on the tree. I think Amazon must get old versions of these stands to sell. I'm going to continue using it as weather permits so that when hunting season rolls around again I'll be quite proficient at it. I want to be able to walk into the woods in the dark and quietly climb the tree.
Summit Goliath treestand
This treestand is simply the best stand I've used. I've owned a few climbing stands - an API Bowhunter, a Lone Wolf Sit and Climb, and a Summit Razor - this one tops them all. Comfortable, easy to use and backpack, the best.
Big...yet light
My brother recommended I try this stand for comfort and size. I have had 9 or 10 treestands over the years and I believe this to be the best so far. Ever stand has it's positives and negatives but this one has way more positives. Big platform, light for it's size, positive locking of cables, comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. The boot stirrups and strap on the back of your boots are a huge improvement over my last stand....had to reach down and tighten a buckle! This stand is pretty large and will not only handle larger hunters, it'll go around bigger trees. The downsides: Hard to figure out how to put together for carrying it. The seat is used as a pad for your back but ends up being in the way of the shoulder straps. Likewise, there is no real good place to put the seat while climbing. It's constantly getting bumped by your knees. All in all, best stand I've ever owned that is light, easy to climb and most importantly, makes you feel secure while up in a...

STAINLESS STEEL BARREL M4 Contour 5.56/223

Stainless barrel chambered in 5.56
I disregarded some of the reviews on these barrels and bought one. ER Shaw is a good name when it comes to barrels. I was pleasantly surprised that the barrel I received was a 16" Stainless barrel chambered for 5.56 it has a carbine gas port, M4 contour, 1/9 twist, it is threaded 1/2"-28 at the muzzle, the exterior diameter at gas port: 0.750" and has M4 feed ramps. So what you have here is your basic M4gery barrel made out of stainless by one of the better barrel makers, and I received it in less than a week. All I can say is Thank You Tactical Ambush! Dont listen to people that hate on a product they have never even seen ;)
Great Barrel for the price, just be sure to contact the seller if you need something specific.
Overall I am pleased with this barrel. I did a lot of shopping in my search to find a barrel and you really can't find a better stainless, (or from my experience, any stainless barrel in this length) for less money. I haven't been able to take it out to any meaningful distance, but so far it shoots as well or better than I can. Naturally, being stainless it cleans up well, which was important to me since it's mostly doing duty as a fancied up .22lr right now. In short I have plenty of good and nothing bad to say about the quality of this barrel.

I would make a note though, the description is a bit vague and to compound matters there are two different profiles pictured at the time of writing this. The top two pictures are of a "Government" profile and the bottom picture is of a "Medium" profile barrel. Neither barrel is the stepped M4 profile.

The barrel I received was the one pictured on the bottom, the "medium" profile. I would...
Real Nice Barrels
I have 2 of these. Shoots truer than you or I can.
I have these both free floated and I'm drilling holes. These love 62gr 5.56 green tips
Highly recommend.

Nikon ProStaff 4-12x40 Black Matte Riflescope (Nikoplex)

Verry nice scope
Wow where to start, Nice verry nice, mounted on a encore 270. and loving it. I looked a long tine for the right scope,, Verry clear-- Nikoplex crosshairs, out of the box at night ( black out ) looking at the nebors house 60 yds out just his interior light on scope was clear- cross hairs were visable-great light retencion. I will buy Nikon again.
Now my selling points, Eye relief is good, at 4 or 12 no readjusting to match scope, length is longer than most - looks sharp, clear, basic- no elavation etc. not needed most shots will not wate for you. I am glad I went with Nikon and will do so again
Extremelly Nice Scope.
I bought this scope to replace a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9. This scope is way better. The lens are extremely clear, zoom moves with ease, zero reset turrets work well and it looks good on my rifle.

My favorite feature is the zero reset turrets. So after you sight in your rifle at 100 yards, you can then pull up on the turrents and change their position without adjusting the scope. After I sighted in I adjusted them both to zero. Now when I go to shoot at 300 yards, I know I have 9 inches of drop, so I adjusted my elevation turret to 3 (3" of adjustment at 100 yards is 9" of adjustment at 300 yards) and I will be shooting dead on. It could not be easier.
new scope
mounted on an AR-15, nikon is the clearest scope I have looked through, I would rather the scope covers be flip up but I can live with it.

Nikon Buckmasters 3-9x40mm Nikoplex (Matte)

Misleading add by seller
I selected this Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 scope and the description clearly stated that it had the BDC redicle. They even attached a short video that showed the BDC reticle. I received the standard Nikoplex reticle. I didn't have time to send it back because I needed it for hunting season so I kept it. Needless to say I was very disappointed in the deceptive add. My order number was (#103-5556542-9209847). I believe this was not Amazon's issue but the company that sent me the scope was the deceptive ones.
Excellent Scope
I bought the Nikon Buckmaster scope to go with a new Model 700 Buckmasters Edition 7mm08. It's a perfect match. The scope is noticibly clearer in daylight conditions over the Prostaff, and I like the prostaff as well. The vendor advertised the BDC redical, but the reviews indicated that the customers received the Nikoplex redical instead. I wanted the Nikoplex, and although they advertised the BDC, I did in fact get the Nikoplex. Great value for the money.
Buckaster
I installed this on a Ruger SR-556 and could not be happier. Used a AR15 QR Weaver Mount/ Cantilever Scope Mount Rear Ring/30mm and 1" Inserts and made for a great package. Very clear easy to target. This is not a BDC Scope if you want that buy that.

Leupold Cascades Roof Prism Binoculars, 10x42mm, Black

MUCH better than an equivalent Nikon Monarch
Ended up buying these at Dick's Sporting Goods as I really wanted to try them hands on.
Dick's prices were competitive with online plus I got credit using their Scorecard.
In any case, I was shocked how lousy the Nikon Monarchs were..I tried various models.
Not pleasant to look through, and no where near as sharp as the Leupolds.
Couldn't find any difference online between the Leupold Acadia & Cascades, but when I tried the models side by side in the store, I saw a noticeable difference. I don't know if it's the coatings or what, but the Cascades were amazing!
Very sharp, including under low light conditions. I had a decent field of view (didn't lose perspective of where I was at when viewing or searching for things), and they had relatively low shake. I wouldn't want greater magnification unless it had some sort of image stabilization function (hand held shaking problem). Nice compact size.
Believe it or not, these are NOT made in China as various...
the best
These are by far the best binos i have ever used! Extremely clear and easy to adjust. Perfect for deer hunting!! Buy them!!!
wonder
I have no words to describe how wonderful this product is incredible brightness and also focuses on the best, good power to do any hunting of deer.

Stack-On PS-520 Super-Sized Personal Safe with Electronic Lock

Stack-on ps-520 super sized personal safe with electronic lock
well I've had this safe for about two months or so and i have to say it was easy to set up right out of the box and a lot sturdier than i though it would be. I love the silent feature that's always a plus, plenty of room for my guns you can probably fit 10-12 full sized hand guns who knows maybe a few more for sub-compact models. fits nice and tucks well into the top shelf of my closet far up away from the kids. overall I'd say i am satisfied with this safe at this time, and would recommend it to any one with a need to secure weapons or valuables in their home PLEASE NOTE: THIS SAFE IS NOT FORT KNOX i don't think it's designed to keep the crowned jewels safe from elite safe cracking ninja thieves lol but it will definitely deter or slow down your every day crook. I don't really have any bad things to say about it being that it's doing what it's supposed to do. hope this review helps
Nice oversize personal safe at a reasonable price.
Just a basic lock-box type safe. Plenty of room inside. Not fireproof or suggested for electronic media, it seems reasonably secure for what it is.
Got it at my local gun store for $129.99 + tax
I was looking around for a safe under $300 that I could keep in the closet and keep my valuables inside of the house in a safe spot. I did alot of research online and found that most of the Sentry Safe brand safes are totally worthless and easy to break into because they either have a plastic interior or you can hit the lock on the top to get the door to open.

During my online researching I found out that there are many different types of safes like burglary safes, fire safes, wall safes, floor safes, and basic house safes. Burglary safes have a rating from B1 to B6 with B1 being the lowest security rating. TL-15 safes can be cracked in 15 min by experts using drills, saws, and other equipment, and TL-30 can be cracked in 30 minutes. Many of the burglary safes cost $300+ which I didnt want to spend mostly because of the shipping weight and the thick metal doors.

I looked at many different safes like the...
